Wendy Honnor is a very unique person, who successfully helps people to have better lives.

Wendy’s clients have sessions with her on Skype or they come to see her in person in Tasmania.
Wendy also speaks at seminars and workshops worldwide. Wendy says, “I have studied many personal development and self-help philosophies over the last 30 years, both modern and ancient. They all have their merit and each philosopher has in their own way attempted to unlock the secrets of life and living. But after having given over 45,000 hours of personal consulting over the last 30 years, I have found that most people at some point in their lives need a kind and friendly person whom they can trust, to help them to confront the things that are bothering them and who knows how to resolve situations that seem impossible to resolve. Sometimes it is a small area of a life that needs attention that can no longer be put off, or it could be a major issue or even their entire life. No one book or philosophy holds all the answers. And all of us need a skilled coach and mentor to help us to arrive where we want to go.”
Wendy’s own life has been an adventure rich in experiences prior to her opening her own Consulting and Coaching Practice. She says that the best part has been her being able to help others to be happier. Wendy has assisted medical personnel and rescue workers in the aftermath of a major earthquake in India, helped rescue workers with their trauma after terrorist bombings in the Middle East and worked with juvenile and adult criminal offenders in the USA and Mexico.
A turning point in Wendy’s life came whilst working as a Volunteer Grief Counsellor with the firefighters at “Ground Zero”. There at the World Trade Centre in New York during the rescue, immediately after the September 11 attack in 2001, Wendy realised while helping the firefighters, just how precious happiness is and that each and every one of us deserves to live the life we truly want – not locked into situations or relationships that do not make us happy.
Wendy spent 12 years professionally developing award winning post-graduate medical education programs for doctors. As the principal investigator she studied the effects of a Doctor’s communication upon the health of his patient. Her study involving 2,000 doctors and 60,000 patients proved her hypothesis that good communication from a Doctor can have a positive effect on the health of his patients and bad communication can hinder progress.
Wendy says, “What I have learned from all of my experience is that men, women and children the world over are the ones actually creating their lives to be the way they are. It is futile to blame our current situation on anybody but ourselves, but then how do we repair the effects of the bad decisions we have made or the relationships we have not been happy in. Well the human spirit is unique in each person, and with somebody we can trust to guide and coach us, who can deeply understand us and our unique personal goals and purposes, we can find out what needs to be done, and just do it. There is no greater feeling than to know somebody understands you and you are not alone.”

The Apollo Project is a suicide prevention program developed by Wendy Honnor who has personally saved literally hundreds of lives from suicide.
The project was piloted in two cities in Australia, the Netherlands, the USA and the UK. The results are outstanding and many lives have been turned around.
From these pilots Wendy developed a two-evening lecture series and more detailed weekend training programs for the families and friends of young people who have attempted or threatened suicide. It is a drug-free, and completely amazing training program that has been done by hundreds of people across the world and resulted in many lives saved. It gives a brand new understanding of the causes of suicide, and how to overcome the overwhelming problems that come with unhappiness.
Understanding what causes suicide and how to truly help a young person who seems lost, hopeless and out of communication is the key. You will see how you can turn things around and bring back the sunshine and the happiness that seemed to have disappeared.
